Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for your purchase. We hope you are happy with your purchase. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund or an exchange. Please see below for more information on our return policy.

Statutory Right to Cancel (EU Consumers)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the date you receive the goods.

You do not need to provide a reason.

You must contact us within this 14-day period to confirm cancellation.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

How to Cancel and Return an Order

All returns must be postmarked within twenty one (21) days of the purchase date. All returned items must be in new and unused condition, with all original tags and labels attached.

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please email customer service at [email protected] to obtain a Return form. After receiving return form, place the item securely in its original packaging and include your proof of purchase and completed return form, then mail your return to the following address:

Please note, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend that you use a trackable method to mail your return.

REFUNDS

Refunds include:

  • The price paid for the goods
  • Standard outbound delivery charges (if paid)

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return or exchange. Please allow at least seven (7) days from the receipt of your item to process your return or exchange.

EXCEPTIONS

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Hair Dye
  • Aftercare Spray
  • Vouchers
  • Opened Jewellery (Not in Sealed Bag)

For defective or damaged products, please contact us at the contact details below to arrange a refund or exchange.

Condition of Returned Goods

Goods may be inspected as they would be in a shop.

If goods are handled beyond what is reasonable to determine their condition or nature, we may deduct an appropriate amount from the refund.

Hygiene & Health Protection Exceptions

Returns are not permitted if hygiene protection is compromised including:

  • Body piercing jewellery where hygiene seals have been opened or removed
  • Aftercare products where packaging has been opened
  • Any item worn or inserted into a piercing

If hygiene seals are intact, cancellation rights remain in place.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, please notify us promptly.

Under EU consumer law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

Photographs may be requested to assist assessment.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns → customer covers return postage
  • Faulty/incorrect goods → return shipping covered by us (once confirmed)

Delivery Issues or Lost Parcels

If your order does not arrive within the expected timeframe, please contact us.

Where delivery failure is confirmed, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Uncollected Click & Collect Orders

Customers will be notified when their order is ready for collection.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, orders must be collected within 14 days of notification that the order is ready for collection.

If an order is not collected within this period, BePierced reserves the right to contact the customer using the details provided at the time of purchase and issue a reminder and/or final collection notice.

Where an order remains uncollected after reasonable notice has been provided:

  • BePierced may cancel the order;
  • for standard stock items, BePierced may issue a refund less any reasonable and proportionate administration, storage or restocking costs incurred (where applicable);
  • for bespoke, personalised, made-to-order or special-order items, BePierced reserves the right to retain any deposit paid and/or recover reasonable losses incurred as a result of non-collection;
  • BePierced reserves the right to resell or otherwise dispose of uncollected goods after a reasonable period.

BePierced will retain records of reasonable attempts to contact the customer before taking further action in relation to uncollected goods.

Nothing in this clause affects the customer’s statutory rights under Irish consumer protection legislation.”
